Waiting for the Stage - Revisited - by Pete Merrill, copyright 2005.
As the back of the book cover says ...
In November, 1885, in the tiny frontier town of Mostlyrock, Montana Territory, six citizens and a dog wait grimly at the Wells-Fargo Depot for the arrival of the southbound stagecoach. They are caught in an instant of historical time by woodcarver Pete Merrill in his well-known sculpture located on State Highway 106 near Belfair, Washington.
Pete's booklet, his latest contribution to the literary world, is aptly titled "Waiting for the Stage - Revisited" (the Revised and Expanded Version) and we publish it here for your on-screen enjoyment.
If you'd like to buy your own autographed copy, however, we highly recommend it. Just drop us an email and we'll put you in touch with the author, providing he's not too busy.
